Rashid Muhammad Ibrahim covered the race distance of 127 km, and was established in the peace zone of the Al-Marmum Nature Reserve, at a time of 3:13:17 hours, and Ahmed Obaid Al-Marri, from the “Dubai Trek Top Line” team, came in the second place with a difference of only four seconds. With a time of 3:13:21 hours, while Yasser Juma Al Balushi, a member of the Dubai Police team, came in third place, recording a time of 3:13:27 hours.

62 riders representing six teams participated in the race: five riders from the Dubai Police, four from the Al Wathba team, 14 from the SS team, nine from the Rabdan team, five from the Turk team, 12 from the Dubai Trek Top Line team, and 15 riders Others participate individually.

The championship includes four races, including three for the men category and one for women, with a total prize pool of three million dirhams.

After the end of the race, the CEO of the Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (Procurement and Finance), Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Peace Championship, Amir Juma Al Falasi, crowned the winners of the individual race, in addition to the "Dubai Trek Top Line" team, crowned with the title of teams .

Al Falasi extended his thanks and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for his direction and patronage of the championship.

He said in press statements that "the levels presented by the amateur participants in the first race have become close to professional riders, which confirms their seriousness, and achieving the goal for which the three races were launched."

She praised the great efforts made by riders during the race, in light of the high speed of the winds, and their professional handling in the field, including what contributed to providing a distinctive competitive board in all respects.

Al Falasi added: “We aim from this championship, which turned into an annual event awaiting everyone, to contribute to the advancement of bicycle sport, and motivate the various groups of society to participate in it, and benefit from its practice, as it is the most influential sport in physical construction, health and vitality of practitioners.”

He continued: «The goal of launching the Ladder Cycling Championship was to spread the culture of cycling among young people, and now after four years the results have been impressive in all respects, especially in terms of participation, and the proliferation of bike teams in various regions of the country, which confirms that we are following the path It was drawn by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Rashid: Preparation started a year ago

Rashed Mohamed Ibrahim, the winner of the first race for the bicycle race, has revealed that his preparations for this race started a year ago to win the title, after he finished second in two previous versions.

He said: "I traveled with the Dubai Trek Top Line team to set up an outdoor camp, and the daily training periods ranged between three and four hours, after this championship became one of the most important bike races for us as amateur riders." He added that «all the stages of the race were difficult, and there was no easy stage throughout the 127 km, and my arrival to the finish line as a leader was not the opposite of an individual action I did, but was a collective action from the (Dubai Trek Top Line) team.
