Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo led his team, Juventus, to beat Udinese 3-1 today, Sunday in the 16th round of the Italian Football League, and temporarily grabbed the top spot in Calcio.

This round also saw Verona draw with Turin 3-3, Milan with Sassuolo "negatively" and Bologna's victory over Atlanta 2-1.

Ronaldo scored two goals in his team's ninth and 37 minutes victory, and Leonardo Bonucci added the third in the first minute of overtime. Inacio Poseto, the goalkeeper, scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time for the match.

Juventus raised its score to 39 points at the top of the standings, a point ahead of Inter Milan, which faces its host Fiorentina later in the day, and Udinese's balance stopped at 15 points in 17th place.

In another match, a goalless draw was overshadowed by the match between Milan and Sassuolo.
