Moa Lundgren's season start has exceeded expectations. She started with being third in the distance race during the Swedish premiere in Gällivare. And in the World Cup in Lillehammer, she battled with a ninth place in the skiathlon - her best result in a distance race in the World Cup. On the same weekend, she also drove Sweden to a third place in the baton.

- It's smart to say that it's a dream come true, but that's where I want to be.

Skiing is actually going so well right now that she has been forced to put medical studies at Umeå University on ice.

- It has become very, very much skiing. I have an easy time of saying yes to things, so I've learned to back a little. You need a lot of energy to compete too.

"The camp in August provided added flavor"

Getting the chance in the national team and spending time with stars like Stina Nilsson and Charlotte Kalla has provided a lot of inspiration.

- When I joined their camp in August was the most fun week of the entire preseason. It really brought added flavor, says Moa Lundgren.

How is that balance, maybe they are idols but you still deserve your place in the national team?

- When I compete, I do not experience ... I do not think I would move. I would like to go forward myself. But as soon as you step off and sit here and type jaws, they show up ... I still got used to Stina and Kalla. But the ones I don't really know are still very cool to meet.
