After starting from the 22nd race in the second race, the Swedish 31-year-old stood in the dark and rain for a powerful pickup - and eventually advanced to third place.
-I actually don't know how this was possible, says a very satisfied Kristoffersson in a press release and adds:
- Unexpectedly, I have to say, from start box 22. I took many positions in the first start attempt and got into a good rhythm.
But Kristoffersson was not satisfied with that.
In the final race, the Swede was first above the finish line after a new strong effort, thus securing the season's third victory.
This meant that Kristoffersson, who will be rallying next year, went up to a total fifth place in the championship.
