Already earlier in the tournament, Wijk Emelie Lindström passed on two fronts. She became both the player with the most points in the Swedish women's team through the ages and the one who has made the most points in the World Cup on the women's side through the ages.

After the quarterfinals, she has now also passed the men's record holder Kim Nilsson as the Swedish national team player with the most points scored. Nilsson stands at 192 and before the semi-finals Wijk has made 194.

Anna Wijk makes her career final championship in Neuchatel and if Sweden takes her seventh straight World Cup gold she will be the first player to win six straight golds.

Earlier in the season, Wijk also went around Lindström in the national league SSL's points through the ages.
