It was noticed that it was a rival meeting already in the semi-finals when Sweden met Finland. In the first period there was more focus on physical play than finlir, and the only goal was Emelie Wibrons when she ended up in a good shooting position centrally.

But in others it opened up a great deal for both Sweden and Finland. And it was only Sweden who drew to 3-1 where SSL's shooting queen Moa Gustafsson stepped forward with a nice draw at a free position and stepped around the Finnish goalkeeper.

But Finland would come back, and it was fast. In just 14 seconds, Finland scored both 3-2 and 3-3 where the receipt came after a quick turnaround where a pass through the Swedish defense gave Oona Kauppi an open goal.

However, Sweden would have a lead for the final period. When Finland had an awaiting deportation, the Swedes spun up the Finnish defense considerably, and finally Amanda Delgado Johansson got a shot from the left and put 4-3.

In the third, it got tougher again, and it got really exciting. Especially when Finland has ten minutes left to play in numerical superiority through Oona Kauppi.

But a missed final was nothing Emelie Wibron felt. With six minutes left, she pulled a huge draw and scored her second goal of the match at 5-4.

Finland pressed for everything they could in the end, picking the goalkeeper with three and a half minutes left to play. But despite a massive press where Finland was really close to making 5-5, Sweden stayed away, and is ready for the Final against either the Czech Republic or Switzerland tomorrow.
