Horishima, who won double World Cup gold in 2017, stood for a stable and above all fast pace in the super finals. Although Mikael Kingsbury, Canada, got better judge points for her hopes, the Japanese won thanks to the speed.

"There is not a drop of fear in this guy," says expert Anton Axellie in SVT's broadcast.

Horishima won by 86.9 points while Kingsbury got 86.3. Benjamin Cavet, France, took third place.

Walter Wallberg, who hit a podium in the World Cup premiere last weekend, did not make it to the decisive super final. The Swede landed with a back weight in his second jump and finished twelve. Best Swedish was Albin Holmgren in 11th place. Noteworthy is that Sweden had four riders in the top 15.
