The Norwegian created an early gap in the 34 kilometer long race.

- I was just trying to speed up a bit. I saw that Britta was a little down in the group so it was just to take the chance, ”said Öyre Slind after the race according to langd.se.

Britta Johansson Norgren finished second, just over three minutes from the winner. Karin Vikhagen Gjeitnes finished third another minute behind.

In the men's class, the Russian won Ermil Vokuev ahead of Norwegian Peter Eliassen. Max Novak was the best Swedish in fifth place.

"Will work out with my sisters"

Christmas break now awaits before the long-running cup continues with Kaiser Maximilian Lauf in Seefeld, Austria, on January 11.

- I'm going to train with my sisters. They are in pretty good shape too, so I look forward to some good workouts, says Öyre Slind.
