In 2017, Peder Fredricson finished third, last year Henrik Von Eckermann finished second, in the competition where the world's ten leading riders in the world ranking make it into the Top 10.

With Fredricson's sixth place and Eckermann's tenth place in the world rankings, they are both qualified for tonight's final which will be decided in Switzerland Geneva.

- It's a prestige competition, one of the coolest competitions to participate in.

Fredricson rides on the Olympic silver company and the European gold medalist All In and Von Eckermann will start with Mary Lou, who has been ranked as the world's best jumping horse for much of the year.

- She has been very good. When she starts, she has won three five-star Grand Prix and has two doubles in the national jump. It gives a lot of points and thanks to her I stay far up (on the rankings).

For Fredricson or Von Eckermann to succeed in writing history as the first Swedish to win the competition, it is necessary to beat the home runner and world set, Steve Guerdat, who also won last year.
