Leksand and Oskarshamn are two teams with a couple of really hard months behind them.

Prior to tonight's round, they placed themselves on the last two places in the table. In other words, it was a match that would be a little extra difficult to lose.

Nice 3–1

But Leksand did not. The Dala team, which in the last round won by 3–2 at home against Rögle and thus broke a five-match-long loss suite, won by 4–1 and thus took its second straight victory.

- It means a lot to get points. The last weeks and the last matches we have played good hockey but we did not get the points, but the last matches we have got it and it is nice, says team captain Martin Karlsson - who in the open position neatly put 2-1.

But Linus Persson scored the best goal of the match, with just over one and a half minutes left to play, 3-1.

Goalie injury for Oskarshamn

He came on the right, shot down goalkeeper Tex Williamsson, took some further cuts and put the puck into a basically open goal - a goal that caused the mind to wander back to Peter Forsberg's goal against Finland in the World Cup in 1996.

Despite the victory, Leksand remains below the qualifier. However, they now have three points down to the last Oskarshamn.

For Oskarshamn, the distance to Linköping above the line is now four points. In addition, they are forced to worry about goalkeeper Tex Williamsson, who in the third period was forced to change after getting hurt after a shot in the head.

Leksand also suffered an injury. Star back Johan Fransson was already in the first period when Johan Fransson got a bang on one knee.
