Sweden started fairly weak, and was actually down by 2-4.

But just as in the premiere against Congo, it loosened considerably when Isabelle Gulldén was substituted, and Sweden eventually won by a crushing 32-19.

- I think we play more relaxed and real together and are clearer than last time, says federation captain Henrik Signell to TV6.

Japan in the next match

One of the most gratifying things was that all Swedish players except the goalkeepers and Mathilda Lundström scored goals.

- It shows a strength that many can come in and contribute, says Mikaela Mässing, who scored four goals, to TV6.

Tomorrow the host nation Japan is waiting for Sweden, a much more difficult task.

- We tend to be good at beating Japan, obviously. They are one level better than China and maybe two levels better than Congo, says Signell.
