LONDON (Reuters) - Watford have given up on their coach Kiki Sanchez Flores after a 2-1 defeat by Southampton in the 14th round of the Premier League.

The sacking of the 54-year-old coach came after a single win in 10 games for the club since he returned from compatriot Javi Garcia in September.

Kiki Sanchez has previously coached Al Ahly youth from 2011 to 2013, Al Ain from 2013 to 2014, and led Watford for the 2015-2016 season before returning to his country to oversee Espanyol from 2016 to 2018, and then Shanghai China for the 2018-2019 season.
