The Swedish 34-year-old was a few centimeters from a special play on a European Tour victory when his birdie putt stopped right close but a little too short in the 18th hole. Joel Sjöholm then got to see when the Spanish Pablo Larrazabal put his birdie putt. Sjöholm thus became second only, his best position in his career.
