Several leading players are missing in this year's Swedish World Cup team and many routines have disappeared with injured Sabina Jacobsen, pregnant goalkeeper Johanna Bundsen, Johanna Westberg missing after childbirth and Jenny Alm and Loui Sand have left. But the draw for the group play was favorable and Sweden has two simple opponents on the paper at the beginning, Congo and China.

"We should not go under the chair when we got a good draw," says Jamina Roberts. But we have to perform to get good conditions for the next round.

Six World Cup debutants in the squad

There are six World Cup debutants in the squad and everyone will get some playing time right from the start in the first two matches. But this is also when you can "set" the layout and the game.
