Mika Zibanejad has come back nice after his month-long break. In his third match following the involuntary suspension, he was one of the main players behind the New York Rangers' 4-0 victory against rival New Jersey.

Before the third period, Rangers led by 1-0 - then Zibanejad accelerated. 2.35 into the final period, the Swede broke a pass in the middle zone and took the puck forward. He played with Brendan Lemiuex and with a direct shot, Zibanejad shot the puck into the net and Rangers had doubled their lead.

Zibanejad to Fast

Three minutes later it was time again. The Rangers players came three against one with Zibanejad as the puck holder on the right in the attack zone. The 26-year-old opted for a fine shot and instead of releasing the puck towards goal he played sideways to Jesper Fast who shot straight 3-0.

Rangers finally won by 4-0 since Brady Skjei set the final goal of the match in the empty box.

Henrik Lundqvist was not on the ice for Rangers. Instead, Alexandar Georgijev was between the posts and he stood for a superb effort. The 23-year-old saved 33 shots and kept zero.
