Luleå's suite is now up to eleven victories in the last twelve rounds - three of them straight with a total of 12–2.

Away to Linköping, the series leader from Norrbotten won by 3-1.

For Linköping it was the fourth straight loss and the team seems stuck in the bottom fight.

Not much talk for the table wizard Linköping - who had been on strike for the last three matches before Saturday with a total of 3-9.

For the opposition stood the superhigh table table Luleå - with ten victories of eleven possible lately and a full 23 points ahead of the East Goths.

Something that was also noticed on the ice - where the guests led the game and had a full 14-5 in shot statistics after two periods.

Really weak offensive

Thus, LHC only managed with five ugly shots that hit the visitors' goal in 40 minutes of play, one of which was in the middle game.

Still, the home team was closest to taking the lead, as Andrew Gordon served a giant position to chain polar Broc Little. But goalkeeper David Rautio was responsible for a brilliant save as the shooting guard was completely free.

Linköping defended very strongly and managed, among other things, games three against five.

But in the end, the guests received a dividend on their playful takeover.

Jonas Berglund shot and Isac Brännström steered the puck from close range - past the otherwise capable Jacob Johansson in the box.

"We are moving up from the first period and now we will build on in the third," Luleås Robin Kovacs told C More after the second period.

- There is much we need to improve. We slurp on the way forward and get rid of the puck in the wrong places. Then they can reschedule and tire us out, said Linköping's Henrik Törnqvist critically.

Hard to score

LHC pushed for more in the last period, but as so many times earlier this fall had great problems with efficiency.

Instead, Arttu Ilomäki increased to 2–0 (after Filip Karlsson dribbled away in front of his own cage) and Nils Lundkvist to 3–0.

Andrew Gordon overplayed David Rautio and gave some nerve again. But the Canadian was just too hot at the end in the hunt for a new reduction, pulled on an expulsion and with a man less on the ice, LHC couldn't threaten.
