The former member of the CONMEBOL executive committee, former president of the CBF and former member of the FIFA executive committee is credited with violating the ethical code of the governing body of world football during the period 2006-2012, for " bribes in the award of contracts audiovisual and marketing competitions of the CBF, CONMEBOL and Concacaf ", according to a statement sent by FIFA.
