Kianzad, despite his relatively young age, 27, is a veteran of Swedish MMA and has gone 17 games since his professional debut in 2012.

Two weeks ago, she won her first match in the UFC, the world's largest MMA organization, and took a convincing point victory against Australia's Jessica-Rose Clark.

The bantamweight has two matches left on the contract and now she chooses to challenge Brazilian Bethe Correia, ranked 13th in the world among the champions of the champion belt.

- The goal is obviously to extend the contract and I want to meet Correia in March or April, she tells SVT Sport.

Three Swedish shoes have won in the UFC

The UFC has been around since 1993, but not until 2012 were women allowed to compete in the organization. In 2016, Lina Länsberg became the first Swedish to enter a UFC match, and it opened the door for others.

Within five months, three Swedes have now won matches (Länsberg, Kianzad and Bea Malecki).

- I think we have set a really good standard for all of us girls, that we are among the top in the world and not just in Scandinavia. It also opens doors for other girls who want to take the step from amateur to professional, says Kianzad.

"Showed what level I hold"

The Swedish has previously competed in the prestigious organization Invicta, but to finally win a match in the UFC in front of tens of millions of viewers, she describes as "incredible".

- I who am a very emotional person did not even get any tears, it usually comes when I achieve such a big goal. It was a big pressure for the match because I so wanted to get my first win in the UFC, she says and continues:

- I feel that I showed that evening what level I hold. And my boxing seemed extra special.
