Diego Maradona has decided to continue his job as coach of Gimnasia E Esgrima, in a sudden shift, two days after resigning to the struggling Argentine league.
"Maradona will continue with Gimnasia," Maradona's manager, Christian Pragarnik, told an Argentine radio station.
His lawyer, Matthias Morla, told a news conference that the former World Cup winner had decided to change his mind after the club's presidents agreed to set aside their differences ahead of Saturday's election.
