Bemström got an assist when leveling to 2-2 and then set a really original goal, his third for the season, when Columbus took the lead by 3-2. A puck from the Swede bounced against the plexiglass, over the goal and via goalkeeper Carey Price's stomach into the net.

"I've never seen anything like this before, such a bounce from behind the cage, it's pretty crazy," says Columbus goalkeeper Joonas Korpisalo.

-Galna bounce sometimes, but I'm glad we got it.

Bemström has picked up points in the last five games, breaking rookie records in Columbus. The latest to achieve that was Dubois 2017–2018, the same Canadian who was now recorded against Montréal for two goals and one assist.

Alexander Wennberg and Gustav Nyquist also got each assist for Columbus.

Oskar Sundqvist scored his fourth goal of the season when St. Louis defeated Tampa Bay by 3-1.

Jonas Brodin set his first goal of the season, and Joel Eriksson Ek picked up an assist, in Minnesota's 4-1 victory over Buffalo.
