Säfvenberg injured himself on training last Sunday and has now had the injury investigated.
“Charlotte's injury consists of two parts. Partly a minor damage to the inner lateral ligament, but the big problem is that the front cruciate ligament is completely off, ”says national team doctor Jakob Swanberg according to the Ski Association's website.
“Surgery will take place in the next few days and then the treatment and rehabilitation will be modified based on the needs that exist. Unfortunately, the season is over, but we expect Charlotta to be back when the pre-season starts next year ”.
