Welsh were snatched through to the Euro 2020 qualifiers in the final round of qualifying thanks to a 2-0 home win over Hungary on Tuesday at the end of Group E, which also saw Slovakia beat Azerbaijan 2-0.

The Welsh team joined Croatia to Euro 2020 after the Hungarians were just around the corner from the abduction of the qualifying card.

However, Wales turned the tide and clinched a 2-0 win over Aaron Ramsey in the 15th and 47th minute.

Croatia lead Group E with 17 points, Wales are second with 14 points, Slovakia are third with 13 and Hungary are fourth with 12.

Wales have snatched the 20th pass, the last card awaiting a decisive round that will bring together 16 teams in March to decide the identity of four other candidates.

A number of European cities will host the next edition of the European Nations with the participation of 24 teams.
