Brazil regained the spirit of victories after five games without a win after Philippe Coutinho shone to beat South Korea 3-0 in a friendly football match on Tuesday.

In front of a few in Abu Dhabi, Lucas Paqueta put Brazil ahead in the ninth minute with a header from close range after an excellent effort from Coutinho on the left and Renan Lodi.

Coutinho, who returned to the starting line-up from the bench recently, doubled the lead before the break with a brilliant free kick from 20 meters.

Danilo scored his first international goal an hour later with a powerful shot from outside the box.

The game extended a frustrating series for South Korea, where the Asian team played three games without conceding a goal.

This is Brazil's last friendly before the start of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in March.
