Brazil won their fourth U-17 World Cup title with a late 2-1 win over Mexico on Sunday in the final of the tournament hosted by Brazil.

The French team won the bronze medal of the championship, beating the Netherlands 3-1 in the match for third place.

The Brazilian team overturned a late goal to win precious time in the deadly, to win their fourth title in the World Cup junior, while Mexico squandered a golden opportunity to crown his adventure in this edition.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, and Bryan Gonzalez scored Mexico's lead in the 66th minute.

The Brazilian team overcame the realism of the Mexican team, which reached the final well-deserved, although it was not among the candidates to compete strongly in this edition.

The Brazilian team also overcome the misfortune he encountered across the game, especially when he bounced two balls from the Mexican goal, and the young samba succeeded in crowning their success story in the tournament with this precious title.

Brazil had won three previous titles in 1997, 1999 and 2003, before winning their fourth title, reducing them to one-point difference with the record-winning Nigerian team (five times).

On the other hand, the Mexican team froze at two titles won in 2005 and 2011, and the team was satisfied with the second place, which won once in the 2013 edition.

In the third and fourth place match, Arnaud Kalimundo Mwenga scored three hat-tricks to lead the French team to a bronze medal in the tournament by beating the Netherlands 3-1 in the third place match in the tournament.

The French team overturned a late goal to clean up the big win, to finish third for the first time in its history, having won the trophy once before, in 2001.

The Dutch, meanwhile, finished fourth for the first time in their history, with their best previous achievement at the World Junior Championships going back to 2005 when they finished third.

The Dutch took the lead through Mohamed Tabouni (15), and the French team responded strongly through a hat-trick (scored by Muyinga) (22, 54 and 62).
