Red Bull Racing announced that British driver Alexander Albon, promoted to the team this summer, will continue to be Max Verstappen's partner in the 2020 World Cup, while Toro Rosso confirmed that Pierre Gasly and Daniil Kvyat will continue as their drivers next year.
Albon, 23, is playing his first season in F1 and in August replaced Pierre Gasly . Since that time, he has stood out for his regularity and has managed to finish in the top six in the seven races he has played with Red Bull.
"I know how lucky I am to have this opportunity. I am very grateful that Red Bull has trusted me and believed in my results since I joined the team. This year has been amazing for me and receiving the Red Bull call to Mid-season was already a big step, so now I'm going to use this season's learning and use the experience to improve and fight in 2020, "Albon said in a statement.

At the same time, Toro Rosso, the Red Bull affiliate team, confirmed that Gasly and Kvyat will continue to form their driver pair in 2020.
