Finland defeated Armenia by 3-0 at home and thus took a big step towards the European Championships next summer. Fredrik Jensen gave Finland the lead in the 31st minute after a corner, and Teemu Pukki extended after getting the ball deep and then nicely lifted it behind Armenia's goalkeeper after just over an hour's play.

Shortly before full time, Pukki repeated that business with a similar goal to 3-0.

The victory makes Finland consolidate its second place in the group, behind already European-ready Italy, at 15 points. Armenia is third in ten points, as many as the fourth in the group, Bosnia-Herzegovina, which will meet Greece later tonight.
