The Swedish team with Anna Nilsson at Candy Girl, Victoria Carlerbäck at Zlatan and Hanna Berg with Quite Surivor were actually not even close to a pallet place. The Swedish team finished in tenth place out of twelve starts but, thanks to their fine results until the closing in the Dutch Boekelo, ended the season as a total winner. Hanna Berg became the best Swedish team individually when she finished 42nd.
Since Sweden had already secured an Olympic ticket with the gold medal earlier this autumn, it was all about not letting Britain change its overall position. They succeeded, but as a bonus, the competition was also designed for the first time according to the new Olympic format.
