Södertälje Kings lost unexpectedly to Wetterbygden on Tuesday with 89-88 after being stolen on one point in the match, after the secretariat counted Dino Pita's penalty throw miss.

Today, the reigning Swedish champions took revenge.

Kings won the home premiere 84-83 against Umeå, after leading 35-21 a bit into the second period. The guests caught up and turned to a solid lead with 66-52 before the home team woke up, came again and won.

Dino Pita along with Charles Callison became the best in Kings with 21 points. Afterwards, however, Pita was disappointed with the effort.

- I'm not gray-haired yet, but that's probably if we keep playing like this. They played well and we played a little in the hands of them. Second game in a row that we lead with ten points and we relax. It must not happen if we are to be a competitor for the gold this year, he tells SVT.
