Northern Ireland sensationally took the lead against the Netherlands with the quarter remaining of regular time. Josh Magennis took advantage of defenders Matthijs de Ligt and Daley Blind and tied 0-1 for the visitors.
The Netherlands pressed for a receipt and six minutes after the Magennis lead goal made Memphis Depay 1-1 when he sent in a classic toe pie. On overtime, Luuk de Jong managed to suck in his ball and push in 2-1 before Depay followed up with his second goal in the final minute of the match.
The victory means that the Netherlands is up in the table, at the same point as Germany, twelve. Northern Ireland also has twelve points, but has one game more play <d than the other two.
