Most of it speaks to Sarah Sjöström over the short course European Championships in Glasgow in December. The next major championship for the Swedish swimming queen is therefore the Tokyo Olympics, which will be decided during July and August 2020.

In a long interview with Dagens Nyheter, Sjöström analyzed the summer's final race at the parade branch 100 meters butterfly at the World Cup in South Korea. She has come to the conclusion that she lost too much in turning and underwater work, which allowed 17-year-old Canadian Maggie MacNeil to get past and pinch the gold before Sjöström.

- Yes, that's where they pull off. Even those who are ten years younger than I am have better turns and kicks than I had in that final, says Sjöström to DN.

- The turnaround laid the foundation for my finishing 50 to become weak, so there is some to work with and that I can do better, she continues.

The 26-year-old Swede has also had problems with the technique in butterfly swimming. Therefore, during the fall, she will begin to analyze what she can improve.

- During the fall we will start filming more during the training session to see if there is anything we can change.
