The Council of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) has approved the Formula 1 calendar for 2020. Next season, 22 races will take place in the championship - a record number of stages. The championship starts March 15 with the Australian Grand Prix, and ends on November 29 with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The stage in Russia is scheduled for September 27.

Two new Grand Prix will appear on the calendar - in Vietnam (April 5) and in the Netherlands (May 3). The German Grand Prix will not be held.

Earlier, the owner of the track in St. Petersburg denied information about negotiations with Formula 1.
