Gagliolo: "A dream I've had since I was a kid"

When the news came that the Swedish-Italian had been selected for the matches against Spain and Malta, he was on the football field, and got a shock when he looked at his phone.

- When I looked at my phone there were lots of messages.

For Gagliolo, the selection means that he has to live a dream he has had throughout his life.

- The dream I had since I was a child becomes a reality. I started playing as an amateur, and now I'm in the national team, I think this is the highlight of my career, he tells SVT Sport.

Whether he can start or not is still unclear. But he intends to go to the national team collection and try to do what he can to impress Janne Andersson.

- I will go there without creating any conflicts and will try to make myself available to Janne. I hope to be able to help the team move on to the European Championships.
