But the victory was not given despite the dominance. For as in previous matches, Oskarshamn continued to be effective, taking advantage of the chances they got. Already after five minutes Johannes Salmonsson got a free-kick directly from the deportation booth, and neatly put 1-0 behind Joel Lassinantti.

But much more than that was not the case for Oskarshamn in the first period. The team only got four shots on goal, and spent much of the period in its own zone. Then came the backward goals. Last season's series swoop quickly turned on the steak and within three minutes, Luleå made both 1-1 and 1-2.

But like the first period, the home team would also open the second period with an early goal. This time when Filiph Engsund, with his twin brother Oscar in Luleå, put the receipt. But the joy would be short-lived, for exactly three minutes later Luleå took the lead through Nils Lundkvist.

In the third period, Oskarshamn tried to chase a receipt, but never got really close. The team only got five shots on goal in the hunt, instead it became 4-2 to Luleå after Carl Mattsson punctured the match in an empty cage.
