PSG relaunched against Bordeaux, while Lyon sinks a little more into the crisis. With its second victory in a row, Monaco goes back to 12th place.

The crisis persists in Lyon. Olympique Lyonnais conceded another defeat on Saturday at the 8th day of Ligue 1, losing 1-0 against Nantes, on its own turf. While Nantes is on the podium, OL have not won since August 16 and a large win against Angers. A situation that further weakens the position of Brazilian coach Sylvinho.

Conversely, Monaco lives again. Leonardo Jardim's men won their second consecutive victory after the win against Nice. The Monaco club goes back to 12th place, after a big 4-1 win over Brest at home. Ben Yedder, Slimani, Gelson Martins and Keita Baldé allowed Monaco to win.

Angers stalls, PSG revive

At the top of the standings, PSG revived after their defeat at home against Reims, with a win against Bordeaux. Back from injury, it was Kylian Mbappé who delivered his own in the 70th minute. With this victory, PSG is alone in first in Ligue 1 with 2 points ahead of Angers, which stalled Amien (1-1).

In other matches, Metz has long believed in success against Toulouse (2-2) but the end of the match was unbreathable. And Reims ruined his prestigious success in Paris by deceiving at home against Dijon, the first success of the Burgundians this season (2-1). For its part, Lille got a good draw in Nice (1-1).
