Over the past five years, about 60 Kenyan athletes have been sanctioned. In addition, the country is one of five countries that are under the strict supervision of the International Athletic Association's anti-doping unit, AIU.

Now the German ZDF has managed to capture two more Kenyan athletes.

With a hidden camera, the TV channel has been filming inside a local pharmacy when a man and a woman injected - what they believe to be about the blood doping drug epo - something in one arm.

"Serious charges"

ZDF states that it is about two runners who will be in Kenya's upcoming World Cup squad.

In the film clip, IAAF's standalone anti-doping unit, AIU, is also allowed to comment on the pictures from the pharmacy.

- These are very serious allegations. We are not naive so we know that there are problems with corruption in Kenya. We are always open to investigate such allegations. They (Kenya) have very strict rules of conduct from us that they must obey. If you don't sound like that, IAAF can decide to exclude the country, says Brett Clothier, head of the anti-doping unit.

The Doha Athletics World Cup begins on Friday, September 27 and is broadcast on SVT's channels
