The message came as a shock in handball Sweden, the national team-merited male player had stuck in a doping control and tested positive for cocaine. Now the Aftonbladet reports that the verdict has been set and the player who has represented several clubs, both in Sweden and abroad, will be suspended for 15 months.

In an interview with Aftonbladet, the player tells him the cocaine was used as a self-medication to manage his undiagnosed ADHD.

- When I look back now I am frightened at how fast things can go. I was on my way straight to hell, I think. I am very convinced that it would have ended very badly and tragically for me, says the player to Aftonbladet.

In the interview with Aftonbladet, the player says that he is now feeling much better and hopes to play handball again after the earned suspension.
