In early September, Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko signed a contract for his next fight. A representative of power sports Mikhail Koklyaev will become his rival. So far, nothing is known about the organizers, as well as the time of the fight, however, both athletes have already managed to exchange sharp statements about each other.

Strongman, in his own peculiar manner, spoke about his plans to fight on the page in social networks. He published a video on which next to him is a capsule of a spacecraft.

“This capsule is made especially for one person. It is built for Alexander Emelianenko. Sanya, you will be in her at that moment when I will beat you, ”Koklyaev joked.

Both athletes began to warm public interest in the upcoming fight on the day the contract was signed. Then it became known that the meeting will be held according to the rules of boxing and will consist of four rounds of three minutes each. Emelianenko stressed that this will be enough for him to defeat his opponent.

Earlier, the representative of mixed martial arts has repeatedly stated his disdain for bodybuilders, who, in his opinion, in the gym are engaged only in "admiring the mirror." It was on this basis that in March of this year a conflict arose between him and Koklyaev. Over the course of several months, both dedicated offensive videos on social networks and media appearances, often ridiculing the intellectual abilities of representatives of different disciplines. As a result, the athletes had the opportunity to meet face to face already in the ring.

The fact that Emelianenko does not take seriously his future rival, says one of his recent statements.

“Give Koklyaev so that he will gather like-minded people like him — big healthy ones — in the amount of ten people. Let them come in and go out this evening of battle in turn. And I will bear them. Specially trained people will drag them to the warehouse of already damaged furniture, ”said the ex-world champion according to ProFC.

Most experts and athletes took this statement as a joke or another attempt to remind fans of the fight with Koklyaev. However, there were those who warned the Russians against statements of this kind, and also made an assumption about the prospects for such a battle.

“Ten fights can be held if you fight with weak opponents, and it will be very difficult. It’s unrealistic with professionals, ”the website of Channel Five quotes the words of MMA fighter Ramazan Emeev.

In addition, some athletes expressed their willingness to enter the ring against Emelianenko.

This is not the first time that Emelianenko is trying to invent a new format for conducting battles. The other day, he proposed the creation of a promotional organization that would compete with North American counterparts. Fights under its auspices will unite several disciplines at once and take place in three rounds. The first - according to the rules of kickboxing, the second - according to the rules of struggle, the third - according to the rules of MMA. In his opinion, this version will not only balance the forces of fighters with different styles, but will also add entertainment compared to classic meetings in mixed martial arts.

“It remains to find like-minded people. We need people who would be interested in this and who are ready to organize our promotion so that the fighters do not look in the direction of America, ”he concluded.

In the upcoming fight, most experts prefer a more experienced MMA fighter. At the same time, Russian powerlifter Evgeny Karyakin suggested that his excessive emotionality could play against Emelianenko.
