Málaga CF fans gathered in front of the La Rosaleda stadium to demand the departure of Qatari owner Abdullah Al Thani, due to poor results and failure to fulfill promises to return the team to the first division.

The crowd accused the Qatari owner of "the thief, the fool and the scammer", and demanded his departure through banners raised in front of the stadium.

The crisis developed after the loss of their team to Almeria, owned by adviser Turki Al-Sheikh, in the "Derby" Andalusia, in the round 4 of the Primera Liga.

The atmosphere in Malacca is tense because of the management policy and failure in the transfer market, and the inability of the team to compete to return to the first division left by the end of the season 2017-2018.
