Alexander Isak has had a successful year, first as a sharp goal scorer on loan to Willem II in the Dutch league and then as a new acquisition in Spanish Real Sociedad. Now the 19-year-old has also shown seriously what he goes for as part of the starting eleven in the national team.
- I've been waiting for this opportunity and I've felt ready. It wasn't the strongest resistance, but we do the job and we do it well, "Alexander Isak told TV4 after the match in his typically calm manner.
- I don't usually make nick goals but it was a perfect post from Mikael Lustig.
And what is it like to score two goals that way?
- It is nice as an attacker to deliver so early in the match. We were confident in our game and then self-confidence goes up naturally. We were clearly favorites and then you feel that you have to try to influence the match and I could do that today.
And now almost Janne must take you in the starting eleven against Norway on Sunday?
- It will be a tough match, as it was last away against Norway. I expect a lot of audience and a good match. The whole team played well today and on Sunday we will see.
