INTERVIEW

The fight against homophobia in stadiums continues. The meeting between Nice and Marseille, Wednesday evening in Ligue 1, was interrupted after the deployment of several banners insulting by the kop Nice. The pro football league (LFP) has also decided to close for a match a tribune of Nancy, from which homophobic songs were part in mid-August.

For James Rophé, spokesperson for the national association of supporters (ANS), questioned Thursday morning on Europe 1, the instances of French football "are wrong process".

"We tend to be content with sanctions when we need awareness"

"Unfortunately, we respond to emotion - a legitimate emotion - but without taking the time to think and to discuss with the actors.I do not know where this story will lead us.It is wrong procedure", has he lamented. "We tend to be content with sanctions, repression and zero tolerance, where it is more about awareness, listening and especially a little thought to find real solutions on the fight against homophobia, "continued the ANS spokesman.
