Women's Golf Domestic Tour 21-year-old Sakurai's first win August 25, 17:24

The final round of women's golf tournament was held in Hakone, Kanagawa, and 21-year-old Saki Sakurai won the first victory.

Sakurai started the final round with 2nd and 3rd stroke single lead, and on the 25th, he ran away with 3 birdies and 2 bogies, running a total of 10 under and won the tour's first victory.

Sakurai was one of the “Golden Generation” born in 1998, the same as Hinako Shibuno, who won the British Women's Open, and Nana Hataoka, who was active on the US tour.

Sakurai said, “I'm glad I have been playing golf. I want to win my second win as soon as possible.” Poetry Anai, who won the previous week's tournament, finished second in a single stroke, and Lee Bomi of Korea was third in a single stroke difference.

Also, Minami Hamada, who took 11 birdies on the tour, ranked 7th in total, ranking 4th along with Asuka Sugawara. Rena Aoki, who started from 2nd place, dropped the score to 17th place with a total of 1 under.
