The silver medalists of the world championship were Ksenia Kurach, who showed the second result in a single canoe at a distance of 500 meters, as well as the Russian team consisting of Vasily Pogreban, Alexei Vostrikov, Oleg Sinyavin and Igor Kalashnikov, who excelled in four-kayak competitions at a distance of 1000 meters.
The bronze medal in the piggy bank of the Russian national team, in turn, was brought by Maxim Spesivtsev, who finished third in the competition of single kayaks at a distance of 500 meters.
Earlier it was reported that Russia will apply for the World Championship in kayaking and canoeing in 2023.
