Toyota Gazoo Racing signs a new double at the Shanghai 6 Hours WEC. With number 7 of Kobayashi, Lopez and Conway, in front of number 8 of Alson, Nakajima and Buemi.
Toyota won another double this season at the 6 Hours of Shanghai. Both prototypes crossed the finish line in two seconds. Mike Conway was the first to see the checkered flag, giving Toyota a second win in a row with Kamui Kobayashi and Pechito Lopez. This time, the Toyota 8 with Fernando Alonso, Kazuki Nakajima and Sebastien Buemi could not have with their rivals more direct, as in the other three races, for a mistake in judgment.
The tests started in the rain and the first three hours, there was almost no action on the track, but in the only moment of freedom, the Toyota 8 driven by Buemi took advantage of an error of Pechito López to place the car of the Spaniard in first place.
