If the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last round of the Formula 1 season, is a relative issue, it is no less spectacular. From the first lap, Nico Hülkenberg (Renault) went in rolls after a collision with Romain Grosjean (Haas). The German pilot is safe and sound.

After a relatively quiet first turn, we could almost expect a quiet and fluid Grand Prix. A few curves later, a collision between Romain Grosjean (Haas) and Nico Hulkenberg quickly brought us back to reality. In the peloton, the two men crashed out of turn 9.

The contact sent the German car out of the track, while Grosjean was able to continue on the inside. The Renault has finished its reverse course, in the protective walls of the circuit of Yas Marina. Fortunately, despite the barrels and the final landing, Hülkenberg managed to extricate himself from his car with the help of FIA medical teams.
