The European Football Federation (UEFA) announced on Sunday that Barcelona striker Osman Dembley's goal against Tottenham Hotspur was the best in the last round of European Champions League Group Stage.

The stunning goal came with the individual effort of the young French star from a swift counter-attack in the seventh minute.

Dembley started the ball from half of his side and went through high speed, agility and high skill to spur the defense of Spurs and put the ball with precision and confidence to the left of the goalkeeper, scoring a historic goal.

The stunning goal is similar to Diego Maradona's goal against England at the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico and Lionel Messi's goal against Getafe in 2006.

Barcelona coach Valverde commented on the goal, saying: "Dimple scored a wonderful goal with cool blood ... a goal that only a great player can do, and we are happy."
