Ukrainian boxer Gvozdik knocked out Stevenson and won the WBC light heavyweight belt

For the Canadian boxer, this defeat was the first in eight years. Stevenson was also the WBC light heavyweight world champion since 2013.

Now the Canadian has 29 victories, two losses and one draw in the professional ring. The undefeated Carnation is the 16th victory.
