“The IOC seriously violated the procedural rights of athletes and concealed exculpatory evidence from the court and the defense. In fact, there are no evidences of the accusations made by Grigory Rodchenkov regarding the events in Sochi, ”the TASS statement says.

The report also notes that Rodchenkov became confused in the testimony, and the head of the Commission of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Richard McLaren should have been recognized at an early stage of the case that Rodchenkov’s story does not correspond to reality.

"We are very pleased that the trial against Alexander Legkov, which lasted more than two years, was successfully completed," the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that the IOC will not appeal to the CAS about the justification of Russian athletes.
