Novak Djokovic confirms his perfect start that started against John Isner Monday (6-4 / 6-3). For his second match, the Serb came to over Alexander Zverez in two sets 6-4 / 6-1. The halves are getting closer to Djokovic who still seems untouchable in London.

Novak Djokovic, assured to finish the year in place of N.1 World, beat German Alexander Zverev (5th World) 6-4, 6-1, and took a big step towards the semifinals of the Masters Wednesday in London.

Djokovic was hooked for about 50 minutes throughout the first run, saving two break points at four games all around, before quickly rolling out after the first set win, to complete the game in an hour and a quarter.

The 31-year-old Serbian can validate his place in the final four of the tournament's eight best players of the season on Wednesday, if American John Isner (10th) wins at least one set against Croatian Marin Cilic (7th) in the evening. (20:00 GMT).

In London, Djokovic is aiming for a sixth title at the Masters to equal Roger Federer's record. That would crown his outstanding return to the fore for six months: victories at Wimbledon and the US Open and the 1000 Masters in Cincinnati and Shanghai.
