Sevilla fired head coach after flying out of Europa League
The Spanish “Seville” ceased cooperation with the head coach Pablo Machin, who failed to take the team to the quarterfinals of the Europa League.
The official site of Sevilla announced the termination of the contract with the head coach Pablo Mochin. Under his leadership, the Spanish club flew out on the eve of the Europa League 1/8 finals, losing to Czech Slavia in extra time (4: 3 in the match, 6-5 in sum of two meetings).
The team will be led by the sports director of the club, Joaquin Caparros. Last season, the 63-year-old specialist temporarily headed Sevilla after Vincenzo Montell was fired.
Earlier it was reported that “Slavia” knocked out “Seville” from the Europa League football, scoring two goals in extra time.
