LEE Hyun-jin of the Los Angeles Dodgers in the US professional baseball team will be the second pitcher of the major league starter pitcher after Park Chan-ho.

MLB.com, the official MLB.com website, quotes LA Dodgers coach Dave Roberts as saying that Ryu has been confirmed as a starting pitcher for the Dodgers.

Ryu is a starter for the Arizona Diamondbacks at the Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles at 5:10 am on the 29th.

The opponent is Jack Grange, who played in the Dodgers in the past.

This is the first time that Ryu Hyun-jin, who is in the seventh season in the major league this year, is the starting pitcher for the opening game.

Park was the first Dodgers player in 2001 to play for the first time in the opening game (Milwaukee Brewers), winning seven hits with five hits in seven innings.

In 2002, when the Texas Rangers moved on, he became a starter in the opening game against the Oakland Athletics.

Ryu Hyun-jin, who was selected as the starter for the opening game, set a milestone in his career as the first Korean pitcher to reach the mound as a starter in the World Series in the past two seasons with the Boston Red Sox.
